Thank you to those who attended (or tried to attend) the “Library Elevenses” Poster guide on Friday 8th July.  The presentation has now been loaded to the site:

Evidence Bulletin survey

The Evidence Bulletin has become unwieldy. You can customise it so you only receive the sections you want, focused on keywords selected by yourself. Select your preference(s) from this list.
Thank you.

Survey is now closed.  Thank you to those who replied.  The first customised evidence alerts will be sent out towards end July and early August.

SVHG Library Services

Welcome to SVHG Libraries

This site hosts the different resources provided by St. Vincent’s Hospital Group libraries for staff and students based in St. Vincent’s University Hospital, St. Michael’s Hospital, and St. Vincent’s Private Hospital.

Find ejournals and databases

The Library subscribes to a list of electronic journals and databases, selected by each hospital department. Links to these are available at: Select “Find a Journal” for links not just to the journals, but also to a range of databases.

NEW!! The Joanna Briggs Institute evidence based collection of reviews, reports, expert opinion and toolkits.  This link will bring you to it if you’re in any of the hospitals (SVUH, SVPH, SMH) – if you’re going through Athens, then it’s available on the Athens “Resources” tab under “Ovid Online”.

Find a book

The Joint Library Catalogue is available at:

For tips on how to search the catalogue and manage your library loans, please see the short videos prepared by our colleague, Caroline, in St. Michael’s Hospital: General information and Find it fast. (NB: as these are hosted on YouTube, they may be blocked in SVHG.
